This web site was created to preserve the legacy and heritage of Oconee High School which was a historically black high school in Dublin, Georgia. Oconee came into existence in 1952, having its first graduating class in 1953 and the last graduating class if 1970.

Oconee High School was situated on the property at the corner of Wabash Street and Oconee Street (in Dublin, Georgia), where the school's gymnasium still stands, as well as a portion of the school where the Oconee High School National Alumni Association along with other organizations hold meetings, including GED classes.

The Oconee High School National Alumni Association is an organization that consists of former students, faculty members, and/or graduates of Oconee High School. The mascot of Oconee High School was (and still is in the hearts of its Alumin) "The Trojans."

Oconee High School Alumni consists of engineers; doctors; lawyers; nurses; federal, state, and local government employees; secretaries; teachers; and many other professions.

Although the building no longer exists, the spirit of Oconee High School and the Trojan spirit still lives in the hearts of its Alumni who are scattered throughout the United States, including the city of Dublin.

To preserve the OHS legacy of excellence, spirit, and pride through sponsorship of events and reunions; promoting education through scholarships and training; supporting the welfare of people and communities; providing a presence and voice when needed; and maintaining visibility in the city of Dublin at large.
